Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of startuplex.click and describe the scope and limits of our legal-tech services for users in Switzerland.
Service scope. startuplex.click is a legal-tech platform. It may provide automated information, document tools, templates, intake forms, and scheduling for consultations. Unless expressly stated for a specific service, the platform itself is not presented as a law firm and automated outputs are not a substitute for legal advice.
No lawyer-client relationship by website use alone. Browsing the site, submitting a form, downloading a template, or receiving automated content does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. A lawyer-client relationship arises only if and when a qualified professional or contracting entity expressly accepts the mandate.
Consultations. Where consultations are offered, the page or booking flow should identify the contracting entity, the scope of the consultation, applicable fees, exclusions, and whether the consultation is provided by Swiss-qualified lawyers. Availability may vary and no result can be guaranteed.
Orders and online contracting. If you can conclude a contract online, the site should clearly show the technical steps to place the order, allow correction of input errors before submission, and send prompt order confirmation. Provider identity and contact details must be displayed clearly, including a valid email address, under the Federal Act of 19 December 1986 on Unfair Competition (UCA), SR 241, Art. 3 para. 1 lit. s, Bundesgesetz gegen den unlauteren Wettbewerb (UWG), SR 241, Art. 3 Abs. 1 lit. s.
Pricing. If prices for templates, subscriptions, consultations, or packages are shown, the actually payable price and mandatory charges should be disclosed in accordance with the Ordinance of 11 December 1978 on the Indication of Prices (PIO), SR 942.211, Verordnung über die Bekanntgabe von Preisen (PBV), SR 942.211.
Data protection and cookies. If personal data is processed, the platform should provide a sufficiently precise and transparent privacy notice under the Federal Act of 25 September 2020 on Data Protection (FADP), SR 235.1, Ordinance of 31 August 2022 on Data Protection (DPO), SR 235.11. Use of cookies and similar technologies should be disclosed, with an effective possibility to refuse tracking-oriented processing, under the Federal Act of 25 September 2020 on Data Protection (FADP), SR 235.1, Telecommunications Act of 30 April 1997 (TCA), SR 784.10, Art. 45c.
Marketing communications. Promotional emails are sent only where a valid legal basis exists. Swiss anti-spam rules apply, including the Federal Act of 30 April 1997 on Telecommunications (TCA), SR 784.10, Art. 45a et seq.
Acceptable use. You may not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful content, or rely on automated materials as guaranteed legal outcomes.
Liability and accuracy. We aim to keep information current, but legal content may be general, incomplete, or outdated. To the extent permitted by law, liability for indirect loss, business interruption, or decisions taken solely on automated materials is excluded.
